Photo frames are one of the few purchases where the finish really shows in a room. We stock 25 frames from Impressions and Hestia, silver-plated textured finishes, tarnished pewter look, hammered rectangular silver, resin in grey, mirror glass with crystal edge detailing, and scatter diamante styles. Sizes run from 4x6 upward to 5x7. Getting the right frame comes down to three things: size, finish and what it's sitting next to. Check the print size first, the frame needs to match or slightly exceed it. On finish: if the room has warm metal tones (brass, gold) the hammered silver can sometimes jar; the pewter-look and resin grey are easier to place. Diamante and mirror-glass styles suit a dressing table or bedroom shelf, where a bit of sparkle works. The plain silver-plate reads smarter in a living room or hallway.
